Paint Protection Film (PPF)

ABOUT OUR PPF

PROFESSIONAL PAINT PROTECTION FILM INSTALLATION AT PRESTIGE WORKZ

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is the ultimate way to protect your car’s paint.

Your car looks flawless when it first rolls off the dealership lot—wouldn’t you like to keep it that way? Unfortunately, new cars don’t come with paint protection, meaning the moment you drive off, your car is vulnerable to rock chips. You might even get one on your first drive home

Here’s the reality: when a rock hits your car, the impact focuses all the energy on a very small spot. Automotive paint is thin and lacks flexibility, so when a rock makes contact, it leaves a chip that can eventually crack and peel. Driving day after day without protection will only lead to more chips.

You can touch up the chipped areas, but they’ll keep showing up unless you protect your paint. And right now, the best way to do that is with PPF.

When PPF is installed, and a rock hits your car, the film’s urethane layer flexes to absorb part of the impact, dispersing the force and preventing the small chip from damaging your paint.

Protect your car from paint chips by getting PPF installed right when it's brand new. Drive with confidence, knowing your car will look like new for years, no matter how many miles you put on it.

PPF COST FACTORS

Pricing Factors for PPF Installations

Smaller vehicles have less surface area, which means the installation process takes less time. On the other hand, larger vehicles require more time for installation due to the increased surface area that needs to be covered.
We do not apply PPF over scratched or swirled paint. If your paint is in pristine condition, you’re good to go. However, if the paint has imperfections, we will need to perform a paint correction to ensure that no defects are visible through the film. This ensures a smooth, flawless finish once the protection film is applied.
The front bumper of an SUV is typically larger and smoother, making it easier and quicker to install PPF. In contrast, a supercar’s bumper is smaller with tighter angles and harder-to-reach areas, which can make the installation process more time-consuming. These tricky spots require extra attention, adding more time to the overall installation.
Gloss paint protection film is the most commonly used, but some prefer to transform their vehicle’s finish from gloss to satin while keeping the factory color. Satin paint protection film offers a unique matte finish but comes at an additional cost compared to the standard gloss film.
